This morning, I met Jen and Greg in Harrisburg for their engagement session. I underestimated how cold it really was when I went outside. I didn’t realize it until I was walking down an alley to meet them at the walking bridge. Plus, the wind was brutal! We walked around the city for a while finding different places to shoot than I normally do. When we turned a corner, we saw a huge crowd of people, so we walked down to see what was going on. The line went all the way around the corner and I thought, “Oh my gosh!” “Obama is here!” We started getting closer to everyone and decided to peek around the corner just to make sure. Not a good idea….the crowd thought we were butting in line and started to yell….but we all laughed when they realized we weren’t there for the same reason. Turns out it was only a line for tickets to see Obama when he speaks in a bit.
We did have a great time and I am looking forward to the wedding next month. It is so great to have a couple interact with each other as well as these two! Here are a few from our walk.
UPS came to my door today with a box I didn’t recognize. I couldn’t remember what I ordered. But after opening it and reading the card, I realized it was a gift from
Rita Wiebner after I won a contest on their blog! Thanks! Like I don’t waste enough time! 😉
Here is desktop dodgeball!!

Saturday, I met Riley and her Dad in Etown for her 2 year session. It was really windy and cold, so I suggested we try her house since she would be warmer and more secure. Once we were there, she really opened up and was herself. Here are some of my favorites.
We have a winner!! Molly Zulick guessed it!
What is it you ask???? We are changing names and looks! I am so excited for this. For the past 8 years, I have been Sullivan Studios. I chose that name to keep it in my family. It is my Mother’s maiden name. I am not Sullivan at all. So after trying to explain over and over again what my name is…I have decided to make it simple. We will now be Leslie Gilbert Photography. In the next few months, I will have a new website. I already have a new logo and that will be released soon. It is soooooo me! You will still be able to find me through the old link, but the new one is up and linked already.( www.lesliegilbertphotography.com) I saw one blog stalker already figured it out! (having my blog as their homepage might have helped.) It will take a while for most people to figure it all out, but I feel that this is a great move. I am looking forward to fresh start on this journey to bring you new, fresh and kick a$$ images and products that will have you telling all your family and friends. Thank you to all who have helped in this decision and pushing me toward my goals! I tell you all over and over and I am so appreciative. Woo Hoo!! This is gonna be an awesome ride!
We have 3 exciting announcements/changes coming up pretty soon!! One has already been made…subtly. The first person to hit the feedback button with the answer will win a prize!!!
ETA…it’s on the site and if I already told you, you are not eligible!
Here are a few shots from Mary’s graduation session…..(blog stalker) 😉
This past Saturday Nicole and Shaun came into the studio to do some fun shots for their Save the Date cards. Nicole wanted them to look like something out of a photo booth. These two are such Hams!! Here is our final product.
Sunday, Katie and I headed to the Reading Country Club for Amelia and Michael’s wedding. They are friends of
Molly and Josh whose wedding we did over the summer.
It was such a beautiful day and a gorgeous place for a wedding. We arrived early for the preparations and a tour to see where we were going to be. Amelia and the girls arrived shortly after we did. Amelia just wanted to run around and see how everything was turning out. She had to finally return to her room so Michael wouldn’t see her. The light was so amazing in this place that there wasn’t a bad place to shoot!
The ceremony started a little later then they planned to make sure all the out of town guests arrived safely. Once they were married, Amelia, Michael and the wedding party were all about getting amazing pictures. They were up for whatever we wanted. So much, that we had to finally stop to join the reception.
Everything turned out so wonderfully! Here are a few from the day and your slideshow .
