Haley Rain at 4 months

What a chunker she has become! I couldn’t believe how much Haley has filled out since I saw her last! She came into the studio with her Mom yesterday for her second Baby’s First Year session. For 4 months old, she is rolling over so much! It was quite the task to get a few belly shots. Her Grandma bought her the cutest Halloween costume that we had to have shots in. What a sweet punkin!

Lindsay and Brent….married Cape Henlopen

We were looking forward to Lindsay and Brent’s wedding in Rehoboth Beach for a while now!
Liesa and I arrived at Lindsay’s family beach house to start the day. Her sister told us her dress and shoes were waiting upstairs. I think Liesa died and went to heaven over Lindsay’s Manolo’s!
Her dress was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The girls were scattered throughout the house getting ready that I didn’t know there was so many until they all came outside. We shot around the beach for a little before the limo BUS came. That was a first!! Lindsay was no joke on her wedding day. She pulled out all the stops to make it memorable for everyone!
There were lots of tissues passed as Lindsay’s Father sung to them. I think we even got a little choked up in the back of the church!
After the ceremony, the wedding party jumped on the bus and we shot a little in the park and headed for the beach.
The reception was in almost full swing when we arrived at Salero in the Cape Henlopen Hotel. The view was incredible!
They had such a beautiful wedding day!

Erica and Brent…married Hauser Estate Winery

Erica and Brent were married in the cutest church in Hanover on a perfect cloudless day! Erica was absolutely stunning!
After the ceremony, we headed to the reception at Hauser Estate Winery.
We had never been there before. As we started to drive up the long driveway it reminded me of being in California. The view is breathtaking!
All the guests were treated to an extra long cocktail hour to enjoy the view, weather and wine. We did manage to sneak Erica and Brent off for a bit to shoot in the barrel room and a few moments for them to be alone.
Here are a few from the day!

Katy and Patrick’s after session

Almost 2 years ago, Katy and Patrick were married. I was actually a guest at this wedding! Katy and Patrick wanted to do an after session with me since I didn’t get to shoot their wedding. After all this time, we finally were able to get a date picked.
They let me shoot whatever I wanted to because they had complete trust in what I would do. This allowed me to be able to push myself to try new things, plus, I didn’t have to worry about getting Katy’s dress dirty! We had such a great time! What a blessing it is to know you both!

I went to her house the other day for her session. Her Mom had all her outfits laid out and ready to go, along with all the accessories.
HATS!!! I love it!! Her pink and black zebra nursery is my absolute favorite! Her are just a few from our shoot.
I can’t wait till next time, especially to see what she will be wearing!

Hannah and Ben…married

“May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else.”
1 Thessalonians 3:12
I had the absolute honor to photograph the wedding of Hannah and Ben. In all my years of shooting weddings, I have never seen two people so absolutely in love with each other. Every glance, touch, and embrace was that from their heart.
Liesa and I arrived at the church while everyone was getting ready. Ben was headed back out the door because he left the rings at home….he later returned with the rings, but he had also thought of Hannah the whole time, he stopped and got her something to eat without even asking and had one of the groomsman deliver it to her. Hannah is a lucky girl!
The ceremony was so special too with a lot of laughs and tears. They showed a slideshow after their vows and I almost had a hard time shooting.
I had the wedding party meet up at Wheatland for some fun shots and to let me play in the sun! This is where Hannah and Ben got to be themselves. I took them off for a few minutes and told them to ignore me. I didn’t have to direct at all. Their interactions with each other were so amazing that I couldn’t stop shooting, but had to to get back to the reception.
After dinner and a little cake smashing, the dance floor was completely packed all night until Hannah and Ben left through a shower of sparklers.
I am truly blessed to know you and your families. Thank you for an amazing day!

Meghan and Carlos…married Lauxmont Farms

The rain wasn’t going to stop Meghan and Carlos from getting married on Saturday! Liesa and I ran into Carlos and the guys at the house before they raced out the door to the church. Meghan just missed seeing him after her hair was done. We weren’t there very long before we all had to hurry to the church.
We hoped the rain had stopped by the time the ceremony was finished so we could get some shots of everyone outside and luckily it did! We drove into the city with the wedding party in tow.
Once at the reception, Meghan, Carlos and their daughter Makayla drove up in the horse and carriage to make their entrance into the reception and to have a candle lighting ceremony. A few toasts, cake smashing and a few formalities, the party was on!
The view was spectacular with the fog rolling over the hill, the horses in the field and all the sail boats on the river. It was an amazing day!!
