What To Expect
Planning your senior session should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Whether you've been dreaming about your photos for years or you're only here because your mom made you look, I'm here to make the experience easy, relaxed, and fun.
Booking Your Session
I recommend reserving your session three to six months in advance, especially for summer and fall dates. Once you're booked, we'll start planning together. We'll talk about locations, outfits, hobbies, sports, and the overall look and feel you'd like for your session.
Session Day
Your session includes up to one hour of photography at one location with two outfits, but additional time, locations, outfits, and professional hair and makeup can always be added.
Don't worry if you've never been professionally photographed before. Most seniors tell me they have no idea what to do with their hands or how to smile naturally. That's completely normal. I'll guide you through everything from posing to expressions so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Feel free to bring props, sports equipment, musical instruments, cap and gown items, or even your dog. The best senior sessions reflect your personality and interests.
Hair & Makeup
For an even more polished and stress-free experience, professional hair and makeup services can be added to your session. I am a licensed makeup artist, which allows me to create a look that photographs beautifully while still feeling like you. Whether you prefer something natural and soft or a more styled, glam look, we can customize your session to match your vision.
After Your Session
Approximately two weeks after your session, your images will be presented in a private online gallery or during an optional in-person ordering appointment.
You'll have the opportunity to choose your favorite images and decide how you'd like to enjoy them, whether that's digital images, framed artwork, albums, or gifts for family members.
Weather & Rescheduling
I keep a close eye on the forecast and will reach out ahead of time if weather becomes a concern. We always have a backup plan and can either move to a covered location or select a new date if needed.
Senior year goes by quickly, and these photographs become more meaningful with time. My goal is to create images that feel natural, personal, and unmistakably you.
