Yesterday, I met Andy and Melissa in Lititz for their engagement session. We went to the park for a while and then headed off to Andy’s godparents. They had a fabulous backyard! Andy actually teaches with my husband, so it was nice to hang out with one of his friends! Thanks for breaking some rules and fences to get the shot!!
Bear with my cheeziness today!!
Ok, so I was a little excited about today’s wedding, that I came home and got right to work.
I was truly blessed to have been part of their wedding. What a great couple! Their wedding was held in Hummelstown and then we headed to Founder’s Hall for formals. Later we ended up at Gretchen and Kevin’s home for the reception. Despite the high winds and the cold weather, it was perfect. Every detail was taken care of by Gretchen, including the cake! I wish I could tell you more about the day, but you really had to be there! Thanks guys for letting us be apart of you wedding and making us feel so welcome! Have fun in Williamsburg! I know I said this all day, but you guys are so cute!! Enjoy!
Last night I met Amber and Brett in Hershey for their engagement session. We just barely beat the rain!! But, I always tell everyone, overcast skys are the best for lighting!
It always seems that when I am with a couple, we always get into conversations about places to eat…Maybe it is because it is always around lunch or dinner time….So I have a new place to try thanks to Amber and Brett….Time to make a dinner date!!
So, I finally got Liesa out for her senior pictures! For those who don’t know Liesa, she is one of my assistants. She is studying photography also. This was a lot of fun for me, because I got to hang out with a friend and tell her like it is. But, every shot I took, she would say ” let me see it!” We as photographers are so used to being behind the camera, that once you get us in front of it, we freeze up and become self critical. (except me, I am just a ham!) So, Liesa, I hope these will make you happy….the other ones will make your Mom happy….
For you Liesa
Sunday I headed to the city to meet Megan and Eddie for their engagement session. We met at Steinman park and decided to stay for a bit. The fountain wasn’t on and no one was around…so…..we decided to climb in and do some things we wouldn’t have been able to do before. Then we walked through the city because it was a gorgous day! We snuck in and out of different places and also got harassed a bit for some PDA….but it was all in good fun!
All three of us decided we needed to walk around the city again sometime because there are so many little stores and restaurants that you normally wouldn’t see as you are driving….I have some place to try out now!!
Enjoy guys!!Here is your slideshow
Saturday Katie and I headed to Harrisburg for Regina and Chad’s wedding. They wanted an outside wedding, but due to the rain, it had to be held in the pavillion. They made the best of it!
Every detail was so interesting! The 2 cakes, lotto ticket favors, their first dance song and let’s not forget beer pong!!
The maid of honor and best man designed 2 tables for the bride and groom. I have never seen anything like this at a weding before, but what fun!!

Katie this is for you!!
Monday I headed down to City Island to meet Ashley and John for their Engagement session. We were so blessed with a gorgeous summer day after all the rain! My intent was to shoot a bit on the Island and then head over to the city, but we had so much fun that we just stayed there. There are so many nooks around the Island that if you don’t take the time to look around you will miss them…
Thanks for getting a little dirty and putting up with all the critters!!

Saturday, I had a chance to see Amanda and Mike again for their wedding. What started as a rainy day turned into a “perfect lighting” day.
I am always so lucky to form a bond with the couples that I shoot. Amanda and Mike are no exception! Amanda is such a cute little thing and Mike has such a quick wit! We had so much fun with them! Their wedding was In york with their reception at Wisehaven Tennis and yacht club. Everything was so perfect.
Thanks guys for letting Katie and I tag along with you all day! Enjoy!

I am doing Christine and Justin’s wedding next June. So tonight they met me in downtown Lancaster for their engagement session.
We started at Steinman Park and then walked around the city. They were such troopers for putting up with my crazy demands. I swear Justin wonders what they got themselves into….
Funny thing happened at the market…while I was shooting their pics, we were always aware when people walked by b/c our stuff was sitting out and we didn’t want anyone to steal it. So, we hear a lot of talking from around the corner and who shows up…The Wiebner’s! They had a shoot too! We had a good laugh!
Here are a few from tonight! Here ya go!
Yesterday, I was able to be a part of Elizabeth and Matthew’s wedding held at Elizabeth’s mothers house. What a gorgeous place! I commented a dozen times to Liesa who was helping me, ” I would love to live here!” It was 3 acres of pure beauty. Bekka, Elizabeth’s Mom, did a remarkable job pulling all of this together. There were so many personal touches to everything.
The greatest idea that I have ever seen was a children’s play area set up off to the side of the reception with crafts and hired babysitters! Take note girl’s! It was a hit!
I think this will be one for the memory books!

A Happy accident! They had a table set up with top hats and veils so you could take your own picture as the “bride and groom”.
I just happened to shoot at the same time!I was having fun with the lighting today….
Why rent a dance floor when you have the driveway!!
